The Museum of Discovery

Since we have moved into the house and have weekends free, Joey and I have been trying to find things to take the kids to. Yesterday, we took the kids to the grand re-opening of the Museum of Discovery here in Little Rock. We had a great time and the kids loved it. I can't wait to get our membership cards in the mail so we can take the kids. It actually was not that crowded when we go there. We went right when it opened. The feature exhibit was about dinosaurs. Connor loved it and walked around saying "dinosaurs, dinosaurs" until we saw the exhibit.

In the middle of the museum, there is a huge set of air tubes that kids can put balls and scarves in and they can watch the objects go through the tubes and shoot out. Both kids loved it and Bailey kept on trying to catch the balls as they shot out of the tubes. They would not actually put the balls or scarves into the tubes, the air was moving to fast and it freaked them out a little.

There is one room for kids their age that they loved. They could play with blocks, read books, jump on a little trampoline, and more. I wish I had been able to get pictures of the kids enjoying that room, but the batteries in my camera died. Oh well, we will be going again soon. After the museum, we took the kids to see the fish and turtles at the nature center for a few minutes. It is very close to the museum. We all had a wonderful morning. It is so amazing to start creating these memories with Connor and Bailey. God bless!!
